1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Dadirayi Memory Park, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Purpose of the Platform

Dadirayi Memory Park is a digital memorial platform designed to help families preserve the memories, stories, photographs, and legacies of deceased loved ones. It is intended for respectful, dignified use only.

3. User Accounts & Responsibilities

  • You must be 18 years or older to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
  • You may not impersonate others or create memorials without family consent.
  • You may not upload content that is defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or illegal.
  • Guardians are responsible for approving all contributions to their memorials.

4. Memorial Content & Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you upload. By uploading, you grant Dadirayi Memory Park a license to host, display, and distribute that content within the platform for the purpose of operating the memorial. You may delete your content at any time. We do not claim copyright over your family's memories.

5. Privacy & Data Protection

Your use of the platform is governed by our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting personal data in compliance with applicable laws, including POPIA (South Africa) and GDPR (European Union) where applicable.

6. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited:

  • Content that exploits or harms children.
  • Identity numbers, bank details, or medical records of living persons.
  • Private home addresses or contact information without consent.
  • Copyrighted material without permission.
  • Malicious software, spam, or phishing attempts.

7. Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the platform, or engage in harmful behavior. We will attempt to contact the account holder before termination, except in cases of serious abuse.

8. Limitation of Liability

Dadirayi Memory Park is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or permanent preservation of data, though we make every reasonable effort to ensure both. We are not liable for disputes between family members regarding memorial content or ownership.

9. Funeral Parlour Partners

Funeral parlours using our platform must provide accurate business registration information. They may create memorials on behalf of families but must transfer guardianship to the family. We are not responsible for disputes between parlours and families.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
