Biography
Oliver Reginald Kaizana Tambo was a South African anti-apartheid politician and President of the African National Congress from 1967 to 1991. While in exile, he built the ANC into a powerful international movement and mobilised global support for the anti-apartheid cause. His diplomatic skills and strategic vision were instrumental in South Africa's transition to democracy.
