Biography
Stephen Bantu Biko was a South African anti-apartheid activist and the founder of the Black Consciousness Movement. His writings and activism inspired a generation of young South Africans to resist apartheid. He died in police custody in 1977, becoming an international symbol of the anti-apartheid struggle.
